Hi,

I´m Beate Haunstrup Thomsen and 29. Despite I was born in Denmark, I have always been living in Germany in a small town called Leck -just across the border to Denmark. The german region has a danish minority,so I went to a danish Kinder-garten and school in Germany, where I was tought both Danish and German.

I went to "Duborg-skolen" highschool in Flensburg and after graduating I went out into the wild world...to the other side - Australia! I was working as a nanny in Melbourne for 9 month. Since then I've been addicted to travelling...

Coming home and getting use to the european way of life, I started studying English and Spanish to become a translator at "Ĺrhus School of Business School" in Denmark. The studying was okay, but it wasn't quite that what I wanted. Though I like languages and to communicate in many languages, I needed more creativity and challenges in my life...

After working 24/7 for a year in Århus finally the time had come to head towards to big, wild and beautiful world.....

First destination: Southamerica -more precise Santiago de Chile. I was very excited, but not as much as my travelling companion, thus he had never travelled that far before... 1˝ months we travelled together through Chile, Bolivia and Peru. It was a great experience for life for both of us.

We were a good team: Christian was the organizer and I was the Partyfreak... After having travelled through various cities and towns, through the desert of Chile, the jungle in Bolivia, The Andes in Peru Christian left the continent from Lima (Peru)...

I continued on my own further up North to the Amazonjungle and went on a boat from the Jungletown Manaus across the Amazon right to Belém at the Brazilian Eastcoast....
